Toa Corporation seeks a Senior Marine Construction Coordinator to supervise complex marine projects in the Brazil Norte region. You will oversee operations, coordinate barges, pontoons, cranes, and seawork logistics, and lead site mobilization and marine setup activities.
You will ensure conformance with drawings, specs, QA/QC, environmental standards, and marine regulations while managing subcontractors and vendors, and preparing method statements and risk assessments.
Supervise marine construction operations, such as marine structure building. Coordinate barges, pontoons, cranes, workboats, and sea-based material delivery logistics. Lead site mobilization and marine setup works, including temporary access routes, work platforms, staging zones, silt curtains, and turbidity control systems.

Compile and submit daily or weekly progress updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders, outlining achievements, issues, delays, and corrective actions
Lead site mobilization and marine setup works, including temporary access routes, work platforms, staging zones, silt curtains, and turbidity control systems
Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, QA/QC requirements, environmental standards, and applicable marine regulations
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, marine personnel, and specialist vendors to ensure work sequencing, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols
Prepare and review technical submissions such as method statements, risk assessments, lifting plans, and marine coordination documentation for approval
Liaise with consultants, regulatory authorities, and internal departments regarding permits, inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications
Promote and enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and environmental compliance, including monitoring tidal conditions, weather factors, and marine operational constraints
Work with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely mobilization of marine equipment, materials, and site consumables
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field
Experience in marine, coastal, reclamation, waterfront, nearshore, or major infrastructure projects
Experience in marine construction planning, logistics coordination, and site execution
Good knowledge of marine safety practices, environmental controls, and relevant statutory regulations
Knowledgeable in marine plant and equipment operations, temporary works, and construction planning and execution
Experience liaising with public sector authorities such as HDB, JTC, PSA, MPA, LTA, or equivalent agencies is advantageous
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and subcontractors
