Hackensack Meridian Health is offering an internship with our Services Engineering team to support installation, commissioning, software deployment, and field service activities. You will gain hands-on experience in engineering support processes and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and applying basic programming/HTML/VBA skills while adhering to HSSE guidelines.

Qualificações

• Education: pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Automation & Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: No prior professional experience required; academic, internship, or projects are a plus.
• Skills: good written and verbal English, MS Office 365 including Copilot, interest in engineering services and digital technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Support Services Engineering team with installation, commissioning, software deployment, technical support, and field service activities.
• Organize and maintain technical documentation and knowledge management systems.
• Collect, review, and pre‑assess documentation using checklists, provide inputs to Services Engineers.
• Contribute to improvement projects using digital technologies and AI-powered tools.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and service excellence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support engineering projects and customer requirements.
• Develop technical knowledge of HMH products, systems, and service operations.
• Follow HSSE policies and guidelines in all activities.

Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Services Engineering team with installation, commissioning, software deployment, technical support, and field service activities
• Organize and maintain technical documentation and knowledge management systems to ensure efficient information retrieval
• Collect, review, and pre-assess documentation using established checklists and procedures
• Provide initial technical inputs and support to Services Engineers in daily activities
• Contribute to improvement projects utilizing digital technologies and AI‑powered tools
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and service excellence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support engineering projects and customer requirements
• Develop technical knowledge of HMH products, systems, and service operations
• Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all assigned activities
• Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMH’s HSSE governing policy

Required Qualifications

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Automation & Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: No prior professional experience required. Previous academic, internship, or technical project experience is considered an advantage.
Skills and Abilities:

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Copilot
• Interest in engineering services, field operations, and technical support activities
• Familiarity with AI tools and emerging digital technologies
• Basic knowledge of programming and development tools such as Visual Studio Code, HTML, VBA, and Excel macros is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
