Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Server Infrastructure Administrator to support the technology initiatives of the IT Infrastructure team at Keywords. The administrator will be responsible for follow-the-sun delivery and support of related services, managing both Windows and Linux server environments, and cooperating with other infrastructure teams for resolution.

What You Will Do

Ensure that all escalated incidents are handled within SLAs, manage problem resolution with third-party vendors, and participate in Problem management processes. Provide operational administration for highly available server landscapes, including storage servers and server hardware lifecycle management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
• Strong technical background with 4+ years' experience in Server Infrastructure administration (Windows and Linux)
• Very strong technical knowledge of the Microsoft Stack, Active Directory, GPOs, DHCP, DNS, as well as virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V)
• Solid understanding of Linux server administration (approx. 30% of the role): Familiarity with major distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, RHEL), basic Bash or Python scripting, and command-line troubleshooting
• Hands‑on experience with server hardware provisioning and out‑of‑band management (Dell iDRAC, HP iLO)
• Strong technical knowledge of storage architectures (SAN/NAS, specifically Synology) and network storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS)
• Practical experience with Data Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions, specifically Veeam and Commvault
• Experience managing daily IT operations, incidents, and requests using ServiceNow (SN)
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, specifically Ansible
• Experience administering and maintaining version control and CI/CD systems, with a strong focus on Perforce, GitLab, and Jenkins
