Job summary

OU Health in Brazil is hiring an Systems & Infrastructure Administrator I to join the Systems Engineering team. This entry level role requires solid understanding of OS, Active Directory, storage, networking and security, with thorough knowledge of the OSI model and strong troubleshooting abilities.

You will provide Tier I support, monitor the ticket queue, escalate as needed, support the VSI environment, participate in project implementations, and help with data collection and reporting for

Job Description

The Systems & Infrastructure Administrator I is an entry level position on the Systems Engineering team. The candidate should have a solid understanding of foundational IT concepts regarding Operating Systems, Active Directory, storage devices, networking, and security with thorough knowledge regarding the OSI Model. The candidate will require developed troubleshooting skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment to successfully complete technical tasks.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides Tier I support for all infrastructure components.
• Monitors ticketing queue and escalates tickets as required
• Support of the VSI environment

Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience Requirements

• 0-3 years of relevant experience required.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

• Entry level certification required within one year of employment such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Exam AZ-800: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required

• Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting server and client Operating systems, storage devices and applications.
• Understanding of foundational IT concepts regarding Operating Systems, Active Directory, storage devices and applications.
• Thorough knowledge regarding the OSI Model
• Ability to solve/troubleshoot moderate to complex problems
• Ability to collaborate within a team environment
