Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and evolve modern architectures, lead engineers, and collaborate with clients on technical decisions.

You will set engineering standards, perform code reviews, coach developers, and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery across monoliths, microservices, and event-driven systems.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Strong software development experience and AI experience.
  • Solid knowledge of DDD, CQRS, monoliths vs microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • Proven technical leadership, including code reviews and guidance on best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of the .NET ecosystem (C#, ASP.NET Core, API design, async).
  • Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Strong observability and security fundamentals.
  • Experience collaborating with front-end teams and applying modern testing practices.
  • Ability to discuss solutions with client architects and justify decisions.
  • Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

  • Define and evolve application architectures (monoliths, microservices, event-driven), ensuring clear domain boundaries, integration patterns, and API contracts.
  • Lead architectural reviews and technical decision-making, balancing trade-offs across scalability, performance, security, and cost.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements (reliability, observability, security, and performance) are embedded throughout design and delivery.
  • Drive the development of high-quality .NET services and APIs, setting technical direction for standards, versioning, and documentation.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices through code reviews, CI/CD alignment, clean and secure coding standards.
  • Act as a technical leader, mentoring the team, fostering continuous learning, and enabling scalable, observable solutions.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, related engineering or related field
  • Strong experience in software development and AI experience
  • Strong experience in software development with solid architectural knowledge (DDD, CQRS, monolith vs. microservices, event-driven systems).
  • Proven technical leadership, including code reviews, branching strategies, and guidance on best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of the .NET ecosystem (C#, ASP.NET Core, API design, async programming, relational databases).
  • Experience with cloud environments, containers, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Solid understanding of observability and security fundamentals.
  • Experience collaborating with front-end teams and applying modern testing practices.
  • Ability to discuss solutions with client architects, negotiate trade-offs, and justify decisions.
  • Advanced English.

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. The specific and existing team takes care of the sales of industrial steam turbines in Latin America in different industries up to a size of 250 MWe.
