Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced Project Team Leader to drive cross‑functional engineering initiatives and hands‑on QA leadership across industrial projects in Latin America. You will ensure delivery predictability, manage scope and risks, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.

You’ll apply agile practices, lead risk management, and coordinate QA activities, shaping validation plans and readiness gates for builds, tests, and commissioning while mentoring

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with software development project experience across the full lifecycle, including QA.
  • Proven experience leading technical projects and QA teams within industrial environments such as automation, OT/IT, digitalization, energy, Oil & Gas, or manufacturing.
  • Strong project leadership with risk management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team coordination.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies, test strategy development, defect management, and integration of complex technical solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and servant‑leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate.
  • Advanced English proficiency and experience working with multicultural, geographically distributed teams; PMP, IPMA, Scrum Master, or Product Owner certifications are highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead day-to-day project leadership across cross‑functional engineering teams, managing scope, schedule, risks, governance, and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate technical workstreams and QA activities, ensuring decisions, dependencies, and impacts are captured in plans and delivery milestones.
  • Run lean delivery cadences (standups, technical huddles, integration checkpoints) focused on unblocking builds, interfaces, and test planning, execution, and defect resolution.
  • Align sprints and tasks with validated technical outcomes, maintaining quality and readiness gates for builds, testing, and commissioning.
  • Manage risks, capacity, and escalation paths.
  • Enable and protect engineering teams by removing obstacles, minimizing external distractions, and fostering a productive, collaborative environment.

What You Bring

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.

The specific and existing team takes care of the sales of industrial steam turbines in Latin America in different industries up to a size of 250 MWe.
