Jobtailor is seeking a QA professional to participate in software development by analyzing requirements, identifying usage scenarios, risks and testing needs, and collaborating with developers, designers and project leaders. You will develop and execute functional and non-functional tests, both manual and automated, and maintain automated test routines within CI/CD.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in agile projects, test frameworks such as Selenium/Playwright, and strong knowledge of

• Knowledge of manual and automated software testing techniques.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of programming logic and languages.
• Experience in test automation for Web Frontend and Backend projects (TypeScript, React, Angular, Java, Spring Boot, etc.).
• Experience creating test cases.
• Extensive experience in agile development projects and teams (Kanban and Scrum).
• Teamwork aptitude, providing support and guidance to other team members.
• Deep and extensive knowledge of the Test Development Lifecycle.
• Practical experience or knowledge in data analysis and data mining.
• Practical experience or knowledge in information retrieval and complex queries.
• Knowledge of testing AI models or systems with embedded AI.
• Previous experience with Web systems and microservices.
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize bugs.
• Experience in test automation and programming (Python, Java, etc.).
• Ability to create and maintain automated tests.
• Experience with test frameworks (Appium, Selenium, Playwright).
• ISTQB certification.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in software development by analyzing requirements, identifying usage scenarios, risks and testing needs, and collaborating with developers, designers, project leaders and other stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, requirements elicitation and user experiences
• Organize software verification and validation activities and guide other testers in their execution
• Prioritize bugs, supporting the project lead in organizing the development team’s work
• Define project test plans and ensure their execution and comprehensive documentation
• Keep project stakeholders informed about the overall quality of the application and openly discuss opportunities to improve the system and processes
• Develop and execute functional and non-functional tests, both manual and automated
• Share technical knowledge to increase the team’s competence
• Develop and maintain automated test routines
• Develop routines and processes for report generation and export of test files
• Develop routines and processes to generate charts with test data by version and module, specifying testing standards and confirming their quality implementation in the project
• Develop and maintain test pipelines in CI/CD
• Define the quality standards necessary to guarantee the correct functioning of the system
• Define quality standards for data acceptance, ingestion and aggregation
• Execute regular and consistent test cycles in the project (Regression, Exploratory, Functional, Non-functional tests, etc.)
• Monitor and report quality metrics such as test coverage, bugs found and time to resolution
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders to align quality expectations with project objectives
