Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated QA tester to perform manual testing across web and mobile platforms. You will write clear test cases, document bugs with technical context and collaborate with engineers to reproduce issues.

You will contribute to agile processes and help promote testing best practices within the squad, driving quality throughout the development cycle.

Qualificações

• Experience with manual testing for web and mobile.
• Ability to write clear, reproducible test cases.
• Experience with bug tracking and documenting context.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of SQL, API testing and basic automation.
• Experience with AI tools for documentation and testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Previous experience with manual software testing (web and/or mobile).
• Ability to write clear, reproducible test cases.
• Skill in documenting bugs with appropriate technical context.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
• Experience with task and bug tracking tools (Jira, Linear, Trello or similar).
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and apply them practically.
• Autonomy to structure your own process without constant direction.
• Use of AI tools in day-to-day work for documentation, test case generation, log analysis or automations.
• Experience automating flows using N8N, Zapier or similar.
• Basic SQL knowledge for validating data in the database.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, Insomnia or similar).
• Understanding of programming logic or automation scripting (Cypress, Playwright or similar).
• Familiarity with BDD and writing scenarios in Gherkin.

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in manual software testing for web and mobile applications, with a strong ability to document bugs and create test plans based on user stories and acceptance criteria. Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience using task tracking tools are essential for effective collaboration and continuous improvement in quality processes.
