AgileEngine, based in Curitiba, Brazil, seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid growth. You will build reliable platform services, steward cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and work with service mesh tech to keep systems secure and performant.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to align architecture with business needs, implement AI-native tooling, and drive improvements across deployment pipelines and operational excellence.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years of AWS and Kubernetes experience, with Service Mesh tech such as Istio/Linkerd/Cilium.
• 2+ years building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence).
• 6+ months experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork or similar.
• Excellent communication, fast learner, ownership mindset.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works with service mesh technologies to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native development tooling rounds out the role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable platform services to support company growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing infrastructure-level improvements.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries, ensuring security and operational excellence.
• Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize the development process and increase efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with API design and development, including REST/gRPC.
