Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. You will manage AWS and Kubernetes resources, implement service mesh technologies, and drive AI-native tooling across the software stack.

You will contribute to distributed architectures, improve performance, and ensure secure, reliable platform services. Excellent communication and ownership are essential, with an upper-intermediate English level.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript
• 3+ years of API design and development (REST/gRPC)
• 2+ years with AWS and Kubernetes, Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd/Cilium)
• 2+ years building architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, polyglot persistence)
• 6+ months working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling
• 6+ months SDLC AI-native usage (Claude Code, Claude Cowork, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, fast learner, ownership mindset
• Upper-intermediate English level

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works with service mesh technologies to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native development tooling rounds out the role.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with API design and development, including REST/gRPC.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, with experience in Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, etc.
• 2+ years of experience building advanced architectural components, such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.
• 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
