Jobtailor is seeking a network engineer to部署 and support IP connectivity across complex environments. You will configure switches and routers, troubleshoot production networks, and document configurations with rigorous discipline.

The role emphasizes automation, observability, and collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and partners to deliver reliable services. The ideal candidate has strong IPv4/IPv6, BGP, VLAN, and Linux skills, with experience in data centers or service-provider

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a related IT/telecom field as listed.
• Solid experience deploying, operating, or supporting IP networks.
• Experience configuring switches and routers in enterprise or provider environments.
• Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, BGP, VLANs, and Ethernet switching.
• Familiarity with Linux and monitoring/observability tools.
• Ability to document technical configurations and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the deployment, integration, and ongoing support of connectivity infrastructure.
• Configure and modify network equipment in accordance with technical standards and procedures.
• Support the deployment and evolution of connectivity environments used by services hosted on RNP’s infrastructure.
• Perform connectivity tests, technical validations, and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Support the identification and resolution of incidents related to the network infrastructure.
• Use monitoring and observability tools to track service performance and availability.
• Participate in connectivity infrastructure expansion, migration, and modernization initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, operating procedures, and configuration records.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams, suppliers, and partners to deploy and support services.
• Contribute to automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations and engineering processes.
• Support the deployment and evolution of modern connectivity architectures in datacenter environments.
• Contribute to the quality, reliability, and efficiency of the services provided by RNP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networks, or a related field in Information Technology or Telecommunications
• Solid experience in activities related to the deployment, operation, or support of IP networks
• Experience configuring and administering switches and routers
• Experience in corporate environments, service providers, telecommunications carriers, datacenters, or academic networks
• Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6
• Knowledge of BGP
• Knowledge of Ethernet switching
• Knowledge of VLANs
• Knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting
• Knowledge of preparing technical documentation
