The project:

About the Role: You will work with the existing engineering team and help contribute to the direction of the project and team. The existing team is a Product team that is building a backend for user-facing products. You will help understand and analyze technical problems and performance issues, and assist with legacy migrations when necessary. You need to be able to understand and troubleshoot data-intensive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute manual testing for new features on iOS, Android, and web applications.
• Conduct manual regression testing for weekly release candidate builds on native Android and iOS platforms.
• Update and maintain the manual test case database to reflect current functionality.
• Track and manage bug reports in Jira, ensuring efficient triaging and resolution.
• Perform manual verification of bug fixes and validate their impact on the system.
• Collaborate with engineers across platforms to ensure seamless feature implementation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of manual testing experience across web and/or mobile platforms.
• Proven ability to take ownership of testing processes and deliver results independently.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong task management skills, capable of handling multiple testing requests and completing them efficiently.
• Experience creating and maintaining test cases and related documentation.
• Hands-on experience testing native Android and iOS applications, including familiarity with adb commands, Android Studio, and XCode.
• Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman.

About the role:

• Working hours: 40 hours per week.
• Location: Remote in Brazil, Chile, or Peru.
• Time Zone: PST.
