Jobtailor in Curitiba, Brazil, seeks an experienced financial reconciliation specialist to ensure integrity of scholarship and educational financing data. The role emphasizes reconciliations, KPI reporting, and continuous process improvements within a higher education context.

You will analyze balances, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with multiple departments and external partners to deliver accurate monthly reports. Strong Excel and Power BI skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of financial systems.

• Experience generating KPIs, management reports, and data analysis.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:48 p.m.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the integrity of financial and academic information related to scholarship programs and educational financing
• Perform financial and accounting reconciliations for educational financing and scholarship operations
• Analyze financial balances and transactions, identifying discrepancies, inconsistencies, and process weaknesses
• Propose and monitor corrective actions with the relevant departments
• Perform accounting and financial reconciliations, ensuring accurate accounting allocation and classification
• Prepare and distribute reconciliation reports on a monthly basis
• Respond to requests for financial and management information and monitor the preparation, validation, and delivery of reports
• Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to align information and fulfill requests
• Configure parameters and maintain records in internal systems and external partner platforms
• Develop and implement system and process improvements
• Support and respond to internal and external audits by providing information, evidence, and analysis
• Monitor process compliance with policies, legislation, and regulatory requirements
