STEMP Solutions Private Limited is seeking Assistant Engineers and Engineering Technicians to support semiconductor capital equipment assembly, testing and documentation at a customer site in Woodlands, Singapore. Role blends hands-on work in a cleanroom with 3D modelling and detailed technical documentation development.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, 3+ years in semiconductor equipment or related fields, and strong CAD skills (PTC Creo/SolidWorks) with Teamcenter

Qualificações

• 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor/equipment or mechanical assembly/maintenance.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modelling and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with PTC Creo or SolidWorks is required; Siemens Teamcenter is a plus.
• Experience developing visual technical documentation (SOPs, work instructions).
• Experience with high-technology equipment such as vacuum systems or robotics is an advantage.
• Able to work hands-on in cleanroom environments following strict EHS standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support semiconductor equipment assembly, installation and testing at customer sites.
• Capture measurements, notes, photos and videos of equipment and processes.
• Develop or update 3D models, assemblies and drawings from equipment data.
• Prepare step-by-step work instructions, procedures and checklists with visuals.
• Identify discrepancies between equipment and drawings and update documentation.
• Maintain BOMs and engineering records.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate documentation.
• Follow customer EHS and quality procedures and documentation controls.
• Support continuous improvement in assembly, testing and documentation.

About the role

STEMP Solutions is looking for Assistant Engineers and experienced Engineering Technicians to support semiconductor capital equipment assembly, testing and engineering documentation at a customer site in Woodlands, Singapore. The role combines hands‑on equipment work in a cleanroom with 3D modelling and technical documentation. The successful candidate will study equipment and assembly processes, capture measurements, photographs and videos, and develop accurate 3D models, visual work instructions, procedures and checklists.

Key responsibilities

• Support semiconductor equipment assembly, installation and testing at the customer site.
• Observe equipment and assembly processes and capture measurements, engineering notes, photographs and videos.
• Develop or update 3D models, assemblies and drawings based on physical equipment and engineering information.
• Prepare step‑by‑step work instructions, procedures and checklists using photographs, illustrations and videos. Responsibilities cover to support components End of Life management, handling supplier queries/redlines and design updates.
• Identify discrepancies between actual equipment configuration and existing drawings, models or documentation.
• Maintain relevant BOMs, equipment records and engineering documentation.
• Use PTC Creo and Siemens Teamcenter where required.
• Work with engineers and technicians to ensure documentation accurately represents the equipment and assembly process.
• Follow customer requirements for cleanroom, EHS, quality and document control.
• Support engineering and continuous improvement activities related to equipment assembly, testing and documentation.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. Experienced technicians with equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment, industrial equipment, mechanical assembly, installation, maintenance or testing.
• Experience with 3D CAD modelling and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• PTC Creo or Solidworks experience is required and Siemens Teamcenter experience is an advantage.
• Experience developing work instructions, SOPs, checklists or other visual technical documentation is preferred.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, precision automation, robotics, vacuum systems, motion control or other high‑technology equipment is an advantage.
• Comfortable working hands‑on in a semiconductor cleanroom and following strict EHS, quality and customer procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, observation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers and technicians.
