Ficosa International, SA is seeking an Injection Process Master to lead parameter development for moulds and ensure robust processes in production.

You will define process parameters, document changes, and collaborate with toolshop and mould teams to reduce scrap and improve efficiency while complying with OHSE policies.

Qualificações

• 5 years as a Mould Set Up Operator
• Secondary or Vocational Training

Responsabilidades

• Assist frontloads and provide process feedback to improve development and robustness
• Check mould design with tooling technician to ensure stable processes
• Receive and validate all documentation for new moulds and create mould folders
• Define process parameters for new moulds and record changes with reasons
• Ensure scrap targets for new moulds are achieved
• Collaborate with toolshop to solve tool production issues
• Train and support Mould set up operators
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and report to the Injection Manager and Supervisor on activities and KPIs
• Promote OHSE and Quality improvements in the department
• Follow Ficosa Code of Ethics and ISMS training requirements

Career Opportunities: INJECTION PROCESS MASTER (11172)

Ensure to find the best injection parameters for all tools entering in the Plant. Record those parameters. Fine tuning of them during production if any small quality deviation appears.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist to frontloads and give feedback from process point of view to ensure the best possible development to ensure a good and robust process.
• Check the mould design with the tooling technician, ensuring a possible robust and stable process.
• Receive and validate all documentation for new moulds, creating the mould folder.
• Define process parameters for new moulds. Record and save them, as well as any future possible change, tracking well the reasons.
• Assure that project target of scrap effectiveness are achieved for new moulds.
• Work closely with toolshop finding solutions for any problem appearing in the tools during production.
• Train and give technical support to the Mould set up operators.
• Guarantee the fulfilment of the Health and Safety policies and procedures in his area of responsibility.
• Report to the injection Manager about his activity, as well as on new deficiencies detected in moulds, dies and tooling, etc.
• Report the Supervisor about his performance indicators of its supervised area.
• Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
• Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

Additional training:

Injection, pneumatic, hydraulic, Mechanics, basic electricity, moldflow. Basic machining in toolshop. Basic training in health and safety, and environmental management
