Job summary

ADP is seeking a Senior Developer for Roll, a chat-based payroll solution. You will design, develop, and test features for the Roll product and deploy code through CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with frontend designers, data scientists, and engineers.

You will participate in daily scrum, contribute to production operations, and continuously improve tooling and processes while staying current with web technologies and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working experience with Node.js, Typescript, REST, and JSON.
• Minimum 5 years working experience with ReactJS, and Webpack.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores (GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
• Strong object oriented design and web application development knowledge.
• Familiarity with AI tools and LLMs is a plus.

• Collaborate with business analysts to define software requirements for programming effort.
• Design and implement front- and back-end interfaces for data and services.

ADP is hiring a Senior Developer – Roll.

You will start your day on a scrum call to sync up the sprint work and goal with your team. You will spend most of your day designing, developing and testing your code and supporting your team members. Every week you will be able to deploy your code in production using automated continuous integration and continuous deployment.

You don't need to know every technology, but you're an enthusiastic creator who stays current and looks forward to trying new code. You're always looking for new ways to make tools better for our users.

You will work closely with a small team of front-end designers, data scientists, developers, and research specialists who will value your expertise in software programming, latest web technologies and frameworks. You are comfortable collaborating, but equally capable of working independently.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Minimum 5 years working experience with Node.js, Typescript, REST, and JSON
• Minimum 5 years working experience with ReactJS, and Webpack
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, i.e. GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis
• Hands-on experience developing Web applications and strong understanding of object oriented design
• Know how to apply AI tools, and use LLMs where appropriate
• Advanced or Fluent English skills (medium to high capacity to interact with other teams)

BONUS POINTS FOR THESE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline is desired
• Programming skills on other languages such as Java, PHP or Python
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, i.e. GraphQL, MySQL and Redis
• Experience with Golang
• Experience with cloud providers, mostly AWS
