Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Analytics & Metrics - Overview

The Mastercard Brazil Analytics and Metrics team uses internal and external data sources to answer business questions and drive operational efficiency. We generate insights to support senior management decision-making, assist account teams with analysis for ongoing and new business opportunities, coordinate sales planning, and support other business units with data-related topics.

Role

1. Support the development of the annual sales plan and budget, forecast key business drivers and revenue, define sales targets, and perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
2. Provide relevant financial and operational analyses to support Mastercard's strategic plans and generate business insights for key stakeholders.
3. Perform in-depth data analyses using internal and external sources to support senior management decision-making.
4. Develop new queries and processes for data extraction, transformation, and analysis to meet project requirements.
5. Create Tableau dashboards and reports following visualization best practices, collaborating with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into BI solutions.
6. Identify, design, and implement data and process automation solutions.
7. Continuously seek improvements in analytics and reporting services delivery.

All About You

• Previous experience in analytical roles.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, capable of leveraging data from various sources for analysis and insights.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and experience with tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing, executing, and optimizing complex queries.
• Knowledge of programming languages like R or Python is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency.
