Plant Procurement Operations Analyst
Position Objective:
The Plant Procurement Analyst supports the Direct Materials supply strategy for Tallow and other materials under her/his responsibility, ensuring that the local, divisional and global policies, required to comply with Colgate´s Total Cost, Quality, and Service & Sustainability expectations, are flawless met; also support the Procurement integration team in a dotted line and the Contract manufacturing strategy for Brazil.
Position Scope:
The Plant Procurement Operations Analyst is responsible for managing plant procurement data in SAP and tracking KPIs. He/she will ensure the timely transactional operations to support procurement activities and risk management. He/she will provide data analysis and reporting together with tracking functional KPIs.
The Plant Procurement Operations Analyst will support the Plant Procurement team in managing budget and prices in the system as part of the latam procurement integration team (PIT), solving pricing and payment issues. He /she will actively support FTG initiatives and analyses.
The Plant Procurement Operations Analyst will support or lead negotiation of supply/service agreements with Contract Manufacturers and Tallow suppliers, as well as will be responsible for resolving service and quality issues for the plant.
He/She is also responsible for the ongoing relationship management of the selected External Manufacturers and tallow suppliers. Also will execute market analysis for tallow based on it´s dynamics and fundamentals...
Position Deliverables
Accountable for Procurement SAP and transactional activities;
Translate market data into effective reports using analytics tools to drive effective decisions.
Identify opportunities and anticipate potential risks for the future.
Executes effective negotiations for the business.
Supports and executes updates in Vendor and New Product Master Data in close cooperation with Cross Category Procurement Leaders and Global Master Data
Manages price changes (monthly, quarterly) in SAP by info records creation and updates
Monitors and updates the Procurement budget (uploads and reporting)
Maintains purchasing conditions updated in SAP
Leverages SAP in day-to-day function to report key measures: procurement KPIs, ICP
Works on eSourcing/RFP process preparation for materials
Supports Risk Management activities and keeps responsibility for Suppliers due diligence
Prepares Financial Health Assessment in the area of his responsibility.
Contributes to local Funding the Growth Programs by updating FTG databases and preparing necessary reports (savings program);
Supports Sustainability program on data gathering and storage
Monitors performance indicators/metrics (Procurement Operations KPIs)
Plans and executes data cleansing initiatives
Develop and Apply digital improvement in Plant Procurement area
Continues to improve oneself by way of training, information sharing, coaching and feedback, appraisals, delegation and implementing best practices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
B.A./B.S. Degree in a Technical (Engineering) or Business Field, CPM and/or MBA desirable
Purchasing, Supply Chain, planning or International Business experience;
Good English Level
