WGT EHR Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant / Accountant to manage full sets of accounts, group consolidation, and project costing under SFRS(I) 15.

You will partner with Project Managers and QS teams on cost control while supporting audits and an ERP rollout. Responsibilities include month-end close, WIP tracking, cash flow forecasting, and tax/compliance work for Singapore GST and corporate tax.

Competenze

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent is required.
• ACCA or CA qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with full sets of accounts and group consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS(I)/IFRS, particularly SFRS(I) 15, and GST/regulatory frameworks.

Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant / Accountant to oversee full sets, group consolidation, and project costing under SFRS(I) 15. Reporting to the Finance Manager and CFO, you will partner closely with Project Managers and QS teams on cost control while supporting statutory audits and our ERP implementation.

Job Description:

• Handle month-end and year-end closing, full sets of accounts across group entities, and monthly group consolidations with intercompany eliminations under SFRS(I)/IFRS.
• Oversee project costing, WIP, progress billings, retention sums, and variation orders; apply SFRS(I) 15 revenue recognition principles.
• Partner with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors (QS) to track budgets, review subcontractor claims, and investigate cost overruns.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, track trade/retention receivables, monitor working capital, and manage bank facilities and loan schedules.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing detailed project margin and profitability analysis.
• Prepare GST submissions and corporate tax schedules, coordinate interim and year-end audits with external auditors, and strengthen internal accounting controls.
• Assist in ERP implementation, including chart of accounts mapping, data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-go-live workflow optimization.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent; ACCA or CA qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience handling full sets of accounts and group consolidation.
• Prior experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or property development is strongly preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of SFRS(I) / IFRS, particularly SFRS(I) 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), as well as Singapore GST and corporate tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Synergix, Sage 300 (ACCPAC), or ERP implementation/migration experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently to meet tight month-end and audit reporting deadlines.
• Five and half day work week.
