Maitsys is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP transformation and implementation initiatives in the United States. The successful candidate will plan, execute, and deliver SAP projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, SAP functional and technical teams, implementation partners, offshore teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of SAP project management experience.
• Proven experience managing SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, upgrades, or rollouts.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP transformation and implementation initiatives in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering SAP projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

The SAP Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, SAP functional and technical teams, implementation partners/System Integrators (SIs), offshore teams, and third-party vendors.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Activate methodology, ERP transformation, data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, and hypercare is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Lead SAP projects from initiation through implementation, go-live, and hypercare.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, scope, and quality objectives.
• Manage project priorities, dependencies, critical paths, and delivery risks.
• Ensure timely completion of project deliverables and phase-gate activities.

SAP S/4HANA Implementation

• Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, rollout, enhancement, or upgrade projects.
• Manage project activities across Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Go-Live, and Hypercare phases.
• Coordinate SAP functional workstreams such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, EWM, or other relevant modules.
• Ensure alignment between SAP functional, technical, integration, security, data, and business workstreams.
• Support adoption of SAP Activate methodology and project governance standards.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, IT leadership, SAP teams, and implementation partners.
• Lead project meetings, steering committee meetings, status reviews, and governance sessions.
• Coordinate geographically distributed onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams.
• Establish clear ownership, accountability, milestones, and escalation paths.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies to senior leadership.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

• Maintain project RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• Identify potential schedule, budget, resource, technical, and business risks.
• Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage scope changes through formal change-control processes.
• Escalate critical issues and facilitate timely decision-making.

Data, Integration & Testing

• Coordinate SAP data migration activities including extraction, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and loading.
• Oversee integration activities between SAP and third-party applications.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression testing, integration testing, and defect management.
• Track test readiness, defect resolution, business sign-offs, and quality gates.Ensure business and technical teams are aligned for deployment and go-live.

Cutover & Go-Live

• Develop and manage detailed cutover and deployment plans.
• Coordinate mock cutovers, production readiness, data loads, system validation, and business readiness.
• Track go-live readiness across functional, technical, data, security, integration, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Prepare go/no-go decision materials for leadership.
• Lead project governance during go-live and hypercare.
• Track post-go-live issues, priorities, SLAs, and resolution through stabilization.
• Manage SAP implementation partners, System Integrators, consultants, and third-party vendors.
• Track vendor deliverables, milestones, resource commitments, and contractual obligations.
• Review vendor status and challenge discrepancies between reported progress and actual delivery.
• Coordinate vendor escalations and ensure timely resolution of delivery issues.
• Monitor project performance against SOW, milestones, and agreed KPIs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of SAP project management experience.
• Proven experience managing SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, upgrades, or rollouts.
• Strong understanding of SAP implementation lifecycle and SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience managing cross-functional SAP teams and large enterprise programs.
• Experience managing onsite/offshore delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, governance, RAID management, risk management, and change control.
• Experience with SAP testing, data migration, integrations, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience working with SAP System Integrators and third-party vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• SAP Activate certification.
• SAP S/4HANA certification or relevant SAP certification.
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Planview, or similar PM tools.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience with SAP Signavio.
• Experience managing global SAP rollouts.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services, utilities, or other large enterprise environments.
