As a SAP FI/MM Support Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of SAP Finance (FI) and Materials Management (MM) solutions used by Würth Group companies worldwide.
Working in an international environment, you will provide second-level support, analyze complex business scenarios, collaborate with global experts, and contribute to delivering sustainable solutions that enhance business operations.
This role is ideal for professionals who combine solid SAP FI/MM expertise with a strong understanding of finance, procurement, and material management processes, and who enjoy solving complex challenges while working with colleagues across different countries and cultures.
What You'll Do
- Provide 2nd Level Support for SAP FI and MM, ensuring high-quality service within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve functional incidents and service requests using SAP Solution Manager and JIRA.
- Perform SAP customizing and implement standard configuration changes following Change Request Management processes.
- Work closely with global 3rd Level Support teams on complex issues, ensuring proper testing, documentation, and successful implementation.
- Advise business users on SAP FI/MM best practices and business process improvements.
- Validate system behavior against real operational and financial processes.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.
- Identify opportunities to optimize support processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
- Participate in workshops, implementations, training sessions, and occasional business travel when required.
- Accurately record support activities and effort in the Würth IT financial systems.
What We're Looking For
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI and SAP MM.
- Experience providing application support, incident management, and problem-solving in SAP environments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP customizing and functional configuration.
- Good understanding of Finance, Purchasing, and Materials Management business processes.
- Experience working with SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, or similar ticket management tools.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking and customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.
- Fluent English for daily interaction with international colleagues and customers.
