Tata Consultancy Services Limited in São Paulo seeks an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to support cloud infrastructure operations, landscape management, upgrades, migrations, and end-to-end service delivery across enterprise SAP environments.

You will collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, application, and service management teams to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA transformations and multi-cloud migration programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP Basis Administration and infrastructure management.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, HEC, NetWeaver and HANA.
• Strong ITSM and service-delivery capabilities.
• Experience with cloud migrations and multi-cloud landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP Basis across complex landscapes and perform upgrades.
• Lead release upgrades, kernel updates, and system refreshes.
• Administer SAP S/4HANA, HEC, NetWeaver, and SAP HANA environments.
• Design and maintain landscape architecture, HA, and load balancers.
• Monitor health, performance, capacity, and availability of SAP systems.
• Lead migration initiatives (On-Prem to Cloud, Cross-Cloud, Cross-Data-Center).
• Collaborate with cloud, infra, and application teams for optimization.
• Support Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud architecture and governance.

Job description

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to support SAP cloud infrastructure operations, landscape management, release upgrades, migration initiatives, and end-to-end service delivery across enterprise SAP environments.

In this role, you will collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, application, and service management teams to ensure the stability, scalability, performance, and continuous improvement of SAP landscapes. You will play a key role in SAP upgrades, cloud migration programs, S/4HANA transformation initiatives, troubleshooting, and infrastructure optimization for global customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support SAP Basis administration activities across complex SAP landscapes.
• Perform SAP release upgrades, support package implementations, kernel upgrades, system refreshes, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Administer and support SAP S/4HANA, SAP HEC, SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and related SAP technologies.
• Design, implement, and maintain SAP landscape architecture, networking configurations, interfaces, high-availability solutions, and load-balancing configurations.
• Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal platform operations.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues through root cause analysis and proactive problem management.
• Lead and support migration initiatives, including:
• On-Premise-to-Cloud migrations
• Cross-Cloud migrations
• Cross-Data-Center migrations
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrade, and transformation programs.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to optimize performance, security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Support cloud architecture initiatives leveraging Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ensure compliance with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, operational standards, governance requirements, and service delivery best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration and SAP Infrastructure Management.
• Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration, SAP application architecture, and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
• Hands-on experience performing SAP release upgrades, system copies, kernel upgrades, patching activities, and infrastructure updates.
• Experience supporting SAP HEC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Strong understanding of SAP landscape management, transport management systems, networking concepts, interfaces, and load balancer configurations.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and end-to-end solution design.
• Experience managing migration projects involving:
• On-Premise-to-Cloud migrations
• Cross-Cloud migrations
• Cross-Data-Center migrations
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and platform operations.
• Working knowledge or certification in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Cloud migration and upgrade initiatives.
• Knowledge of ITIL, Lean Fundamentals, Agile methodologies, and Project Management practices is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Basis Certification or equivalent SAP technology certifications.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale SAP environments for global customers.
• Experience with SAP transformation, modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Cloud certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience working within managed services and large-scale service delivery environments.
