The Role

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Research Coordinator to manage and expand our Good Gamer Group (GGG) community in Brazil. This role involves recruiting participants, ensuring they meet research qualifications, and coordinating with them to ensure successful attendance at studies. This position will work closely with the USA team on a similar schedule, facilitating live, synchronous communication with participants. You will also have responsibilities for managing participant recruitment and engagement for both Brazil and the USA.

This is a full-time role requiring approximately 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work offset by weekday adjustments. The role includes a company-provided cell phone plan to facilitate seamless communication with participants.

Key Responsibilities :

Community Growth & Engagement :

• Build and manage the Good Gamer Group in Brazil, fostering authenticity and trust.
• Handle all recruiting and participant communication for Brazil and assist with USA recruitment as needed.
• Organize and confirm participant attendance, ensuring they are at the right place, at the right time, and fully prepared.

Participant Recruitment & Support :

• Identify, screen, and recruit qualified participants for studies, ensuring they meet research requirements.
• Manage participant inquiries and provide support through phone, messaging, or email.
• Review participant videos and open-ended responses to confirm qualifications and maintain quality standards.
• Send out study incentives post-completion.
• Use translation tools and partners to localize surveys and screeners for the Brazilian audience.
• Ensure translations maintain cultural and linguistic accuracy.

Live Communication & Coordination :

• Serve as the main point of contact for Brazilian participants, organizing schedules and resolving any issues in real time.
• Act as a live liaison between the USA team and participants to address logistical needs.

Marketing & Campaign Management :

• Plan and execute online advertising and social media campaigns to recruit gamers in Brazil.
• Collaborate with the USA team to support recruitment efforts for both Brazil and the USA.

Ideal Profile

Skills & Qualifications :

• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Comfortable with live, synchronous participant interactions via phone, messaging, and virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom).
• Familiarity with the Brazilian gaming industry and communities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic productivity tools.
• Self-motivated team player with a passion for gaming.
• Willingness to travel to Sao Paulo for occasional on-site testing.
