• Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the pre-ITO process interfacing with Sales and Application Engineering.
• Technical analysis of client needs: definition and optimization of the products, scope, schedules, costs, incoterms, and costing elements for contract execution.
• Developing conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline and offering support roles with specialized expertise.
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience; understands how own team work contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures and consults senior staff for non-standard issues.
• Collaborates with others to solve issues and acts as interface between customer and GE, exchanging technical information.

Job Description

Essencial Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process while interfacing with the commercial (Sales, Application Engineering) team. Possess a good understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies
• Technical analysis of client needs: definition and optimisation of the products; scope (description); customer delivery schedule; factory delivery schedule; incoterms; cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures. Calculation of equipment performance and efficiency. Documentation of technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases.
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialised expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Collaborates with others to solve issues. When applicable, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
• Prepares offers (Technical and Commercial) with focus on Protection and Control (P&C) Products such as Digital relays, Bay Controllers, Merging Units, Network Switches, GPS Time Servers, Digital Fault Recorders, Telecom wireless radios, among others equipment used on Substation Automation for the GTD energy market.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires basic experience in the Electrical Engineering/Technology/Automation & Customer Application Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Knowledge of Protection and Control is required
• Experience in the Commercial area
