Mitel Networks Curitiba invites a student or recent graduate in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering to join our hardware development team. You will contribute to prototypes, testing and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This hands-on role covers soldering, debugging, and reviewing schematics, BOMs and design docs. You will work with Jira, Confluence and Git, gain practical experience in embedded systems, and improve our lab environments while advancing

Competenze

• Pursuing degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering (2+ years to graduate).
• Knowledge of hardware development: schematics, PCB layout, components.
• Experience with soldering, hardware debugging and measurements.
• Basic programming knowledge.
• Understanding of processor architectures (x86, ARM, RISC-V).
• Experience with engineering tools: Jira, Confluence, Git.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and validation of electronic prototypes (hardware and firmware)
• Execute functional and electrical testing of electronic boards and modules
• Assist in hardware and firmware troubleshooting activities (digital and analog systems)
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Set up and maintain laboratory and test environments
• Support qualification and validation of electronic components
• Assist with schematic, BOM and design documentation reviews
• Support laboratory activities, including soldering and hardware rework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, software and quality

Requirements

• Graduating in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field (2+ years to graduate)
• Basic knowledge of and interest in hardware development, including schematic design, PCB layout, electronic components
• Experience with soldering, hardware debugging and electrical measurements
• Basic programming knowledge
• Basic understanding of processor architectures and assembly language (x86, ARM, and RISC-V)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, or similar engineering tools
• Advanced level of English proficiency

Additional Skills (Advantageous)

• Basic knowledge of embedded Linux environments
• Basic understanding of DSP architectures and assembly language
• Basic understanding of FPGA architectures and development using Verilog and VHDL
