Responsibilities

• Prepare and call for quotations, analyze costing of tender.
• Assist in tendering process; performance measurement and cost breakdown.
• Liaise with main contractors, suppliers and other parties on the project.
• Prepare contracts awards, payment certificates, bills of quantities and other related documents.
• Prepare payment claims and variation orders.
• Check and certify subcontractor claims and progress payments.
• Assist in final accounts and commercial settlements.
• Analyze project costing with relevant breakdown.

About the role

Taking off for structural and architectural works. Understand and reasonably interpret contract documents and drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and call for quotations, analyze and evaluate costing of tender


• Assist in tendering process; performance measurement and cost breakdown


• Liaise with main contractors, suppliers and other parties involved in the project


• Prepare awards of contracts, payment certification, bills of quantities and other contract-related documents to main-con/supplier


• Preparation of payment claims and variation orders


• Check and certify sub contractor's claim and progress payment


• Assist in final account settlement/commercial settlement of project account


• Analyze project costing with the relevant breakdown

About you

• 2 years and above experience as QS in construction companies


• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration and variation orders


• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills


• Proactive and able to meet tight deadlines
