Jobtailor in São Paulo is seeking a QA Analyst to lead testing efforts on a strategic project. You will design and execute functional, regression, exploratory, and integration tests, analyzing stories and acceptance criteria to identify risks and impacts.

You will ensure deliverable quality with strong attention to user experience, logging defects in Jira/Azure DevOps, and coordinating with the client in alignment meetings.

Qualificações

Based in São Paulo, on-site presence required two days per week.
Professional QA Analyst experience in software quality roles.
Experience with functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.
Experience logging and tracking defects in Jira or Azure DevOps.
Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
Ability to understand business impact and end-user experience.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of API testing, SQL, test automation, and CI tools is a plus.
Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

Serve as a QA Analyst on a strategic, high-impact project for the company and the client.
Plan, design, and execute functional, regression, exploratory, and integration tests.
Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, identifying inconsistencies, risks, and potential impacts.
Ensure the quality of deliverables, with strong attention to detail and a focus on user experience.
Log, track, and validate defect fixes while maintaining clear communication with the development team.
Work closely with the client by participating in alignment meetings, clarifying questions, and monitoring deliverables.
Contribute to defining and evolving test scenarios and strategies.
Monitor the lifecycle of work items, ensuring timelines and quality criteria are met.
Communicate risks, impediments, and test results objectively and transparently.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
Use Git/GitHub, working with branches, pull requests, and version control for test artifacts.
Validate the integrity and compliance of pipeline-generated packages in the staging environment before deployment.
Prepare test plans and release notes.

Requirements

Currently based in São Paulo, with on-site presence required two days per week — non-negotiable requirement
Professional experience as a QA Analyst, Test Analyst, or in related software quality roles
Experience with functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing
Knowledge of requirements analysis and the creation of test scenarios and test cases
Experience logging and tracking defects in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
Experience working with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum or Kanban
Experience working directly with clients or on projects involving extensive client interaction
Ability to understand the business and assess the impact of deliverables on end users
Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, and attention to detail
Experience with critical or highly complex projects is a plus
Knowledge of API testing, SQL, test automation, continuous integration tools, Git/GitHub, version control, non-functional testing, performance/load testing, and security testing is a plus
Spanish language skills are a plus
