Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned PMO leader to structure and advance the company’s project management maturity within a global, regulated environment. You will unify IT, business, product and data into a single governance model and guide executive delivery of critical programs.

The role requires 10+ years in project management, 5+ as PMO leader, and experience in insurance or financial services or multinational firms.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics, IT or related fields.
• MBA or postgraduate in PM/Strategy preferred.
• 10 years of professional experience.
• 5 years in project management.
• Experience in insurance or financial services.
• Experience in multinational companies, especially European or French firms.
• Leadership experience, 7+ years as manager or PMO manager.
• Languages: Advanced Portuguese, Advanced English; Spanish preferred.
• Certifications: PMP and Agile; SAFe PM/CSM/PSPO, ITIL, ISO 27001/9001, ESG or Data Governance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structure and advance the company’s project management maturity
• Ensure consistent governance in a global, regulated environment
• Prioritize and balance strategic initiatives considering risk, ROI and compliance
• Integrate different areas (IT, business, product and data) into a unified management model
• Act as an executive reference in the delivery of critical projects
• Assess and raise project management maturity by defining and executing evolution plans
• Plan, execute and monitor strategic projects (core insurance, digital and AI)
• Consolidate the PMO by structuring: a single repository for artifacts, templates and governance documents, and an approval workflow
• Manage the strategic portfolio, prioritizing initiatives based on: ROI, Risk, Compliance and ESG
• Conduct project audits to ensure adherence to processes and methodologies
• Prepare and present executive reports (status, EVM metrics, dashboards) for committees and leadership
• Ensure compliance with security policies, business continuity (BCP) and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate and lead executive committees (COMEX, CIM, Regional, Corporate), ensuring decisions and documentation are recorded
• Develop and disseminate PMO best practices, including training and a risk management culture
• Promote continuous innovation through automation, data use and AI initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, IT or related fields)
• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management, Strategy or Business (preferred)
• 10 years of professional experience
• 5 years in project management
• Experience in insurance or financial services
• Experience in multinational companies (preferred, especially European or French firms)
• Leadership experience (preferred: 7 years as manager or PMO manager)
• Languages: Advanced Portuguese
• Advanced English (for meetings and presentations)
• Advanced Spanish (preferred)
• Certifications: Required: PMP and Agile certification; Preferred: SAFe Product Manager, CSM / PSPO, ITIL, ISO 27001 / 9001, ESG or Data Governance.
