Matic Engineering & Process Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated M&E Engineer to support planning, coordination, execution, and supervision of Mechanical & Electrical works on construction projects. You will work with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure installations are safe, on schedule, and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in a related field, 3–5 years of M&E experience, and strong coordination and drawing interpretation skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant M&E experience in construction.
• Familiar with M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, etc.) and drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise Mechanical & Electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical matters.
• Monitor site progress and ensure M&E works meet project schedules.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and conformance with drawings and specs.
• Prepare and review method statements and technical documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide progress updates to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities.
• Monitor project costs and assist in material procurement and resource planning.
• Identify technical issues and provide timely engineering solutions.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented M&E Engineer to support the planning, coordination, execution, and supervision of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure M&E installations are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise Mechanical & Electrical works throughout the project lifecycle
• Review M&E drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical matters
• Monitor site progress and ensure M&E works are completed according to project schedule
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Prepare and review method statements, material submissions, shop drawings, and technical documentation
• Attend project meetings and provide progress updates to the Project Manager
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities
• Monitor project costs and assist in material procurement and resource planning
• Identify technical issues and provide timely engineering solutions

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering within the construction industry
• Good knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems, including HVAC, ACMV, plumbing & sanitary, fire protection, electrical distribution, lighting, ELV, and BMS systems
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices, local codes, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
