BDC CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an M & E Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) to monitor and supervise subcontractors and manage shop drawings, materials, and samples on a project site.

The role requires coordination with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure compliance and timely delivery. The candidate should have experience in construction environments, proficiency with AutoCAD/BIM/Revit is advantageous, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualificações

• Proven ability to work with AutoCAD, BIM and Revit
• Strong MS Office skills and proficiency with project documentation
• Experience coordinating on construction projects preferred
• Knowledge of shop drawings, materials and samples is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and supervise sub-contractors work progression per shop drawings and method statements
• Liaise with authorities, subcontractors or clients on drawings, materials, and samples
• Schedule work, manage material requisition, cost control, and project supervision
• Document and manage piping-related datasheets, specifications and documents
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers for smooth progress
• Identify challenges, mitigate risks and ensure on-site safety compliance
• Prepare inspection reports for material and site installation
• Attend site coordination meetings as needed

Roles & Responsibilities

• To monitor and supervise sub-contractors work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples.
• To liaise and work with relevant authorities, sub-contractors, or clients on shop drawings, materials, and samples.
• Carry out work scheduling, material requisition, cost control, and project supervision to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Document and manage the technical datasheets, specifications, and all piping-related documents.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of works.
• Identify challenges, mitigate risks, and ensure that safety regulations are being compiled on-site.
• Prepare inspection reports for material & site installation inspection.
• Attend site coordination meetings when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Preferably candidate with 3 years of relevant working experience in the Construction Industry.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM/Revit would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and target-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with project teams and managers at all levels.
• Will be based at the project site office.
