Jobtailor invites applications for faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Systems Analysis and Development and Computer Networks. The role includes planning, developing, and assessing on-site, blended, and hybrid classes at the Porto Alegre and São Leopoldo campuses, along with creating teaching materials and assessments.

• Master's degree in related field
• PhD in related field preferred
• Experience with active learning methodologies
• Professional experience outside academia preferred
• Ability to work 12 hours per week
• On-campus availability at São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre campuses
• Experience with virtual and distance learning environments preferred

• Teach undergraduate courses in the Systems Analysis and Development program
• Teach the Computer Networks course
• Plan, develop, and assess in-person, blended, and hybrid theoretical and practical classes at the Porto Alegre and São Leopoldo campuses
• Develop teaching materials, assessment tools, and course plans
• Provide academic advising and support to students
• Record attendance, grades, and other academic information in institutional systems
• Supervise final-year projects or applied projects in the field of Systems Analysis and Development
• Contribute to the improvement of teaching and learning processes within the area of expertise
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and other institution-wide teaching initiatives

Requirements

• Completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field
• Master’s degree in a related field
• Availability to work 12 hours per week
• Availability to work on campus at the São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre campuses
• Ph.D. in a related field (preferred)
• Professional experience in the field outside academia (preferred)
• Experience with active learning methodologies and virtual and distance learning environments (preferred)
