Jobtailor in Belo Horizonte seeks a software engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance backend functionality, REST APIs, and data integrations across systems. You will design SQL queries, optimize performance, and contribute to dashboards and reports in a hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, has at least 2 years of experience in software development and deployment, and understands database modeling and technical English.

• Solid professional experience in software development and maintenance.
• At least 2 years of experience developing and deploying systems.
• Experience with backend development, databases, and system integration.
• Frontend development experience is an advantage.

• Technical English for reading documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance moderately complex software functionality
• Analyze technical and functional requirements and propose solutions within the scope of responsibility
• Develop and maintain REST APIs
• Implement integrations between systems, services, and databases
• Create, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and scripts
• Develop and maintain web interfaces, forms, components, dashboards, and reports
• Develop services, routines, and processes for data collection, processing, validation, and transformation
• Investigate and resolve bugs, integration failures, and data inconsistencies
• Analyze logs and application behavior to identify the root causes of issues
• Implement fixes, improvements, and enhancements to existing systems
• Support application performance and reliability analysis
• Conduct testing and validation of developed functionality
• Participate in system acceptance testing and deployments
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
