Jobtailor seeks an instructor to teach undergraduate courses in Systems Analysis and Development and the Computer Graphics course. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing in-person, blended, and hybrid classes at São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre campuses.

The candidate should hold a related degree, with a preference for PhD and professional experience outside academia, and be available for on-site work. Expect 12 weekly hours.

Qualificações

• Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, Information Security, or Information Systems.
• Master's degree in a related field.
• Availability to work 12 hours per week.
• Availability to work on-site at the São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre campuses.
• PhD in a related field (preferred).
• Professional experience outside academia in the field (preferred).
• Experience with active learning methodologies and virtual and distance learning environments (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate courses in the Systems Analysis and Development program
• Teach the Computer Graphics course
• Plan, develop, and assess in-person, blended, and hybrid theoretical and practical classes at the Porto Alegre and São Leopoldo campuses
• Prepare teaching materials, assessment tools, and course plans
• Provide academic support and follow-up to students
• Record attendance, grades, and other academic information in institutional systems
• Advise capstone projects or applied projects in the Systems Analysis and Development field
• Contribute to improving teaching and learning processes in the area of expertise
• Participate in academic meetings, faculty development activities, and other institutional initiatives related to teaching
