About the role
Product Engineer position reporting to the Product Engineering Department Head at Woodlands location. The role has both opening for normal working hours and rotating shift patterns. This is a permanent position involving product engineering and process optimization on the testing floor.
Key responsibilities (Normal)
Establish standard operating procedures for product engineering and manufacturing processes on the testing floorConduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential process failure
Review and analyze test yield data to identify issues and implement yield improvement actions
Determine disposition for hold lots based on yield and quality analysis
Perform device and hardware tester qualification, correlation, and generate associated reports
Develop and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize testing and manufacturing processes
Resolve technical issues related to device testing to support manufacturing operations effectively
Liaise with customers to understand and implement new production specifications during New Product Introduction (NPI)
Coordinate device startup and transfer activities to ensure smooth production transitions

Review and analyze wafer test yields
Determine hold lot disposition
Communicate with customer for joint disposition.
Yield Improvement - Identify and resolve issues impacting yield performance
Perform device / hardware test qualification / Correlation and the issuance of the associated reports
Support manufacturing operations on technical issues relating to device testing
Able to work in a rotating shift pattern
About you
Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and report writing skills
Industrial attachment experience in a relevant field
Wafer sort test experience will be an added advantage
