Kosmos Technologies in Brazil is seeking a semiconductor test engineer to resolve test setup issues, make engineering decisions, and drive improvements in device test performance.

You will support test operations, sustain activities, and analyze yield, equipment utilization, and quality performance while preparing technical proposals for customers and collaborating across test programs, hardware correlation, and tester releases.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in semiconductor test, product engineering, or test operations.
• Knowledge of ATE test methodology, semiconductor test processes, ATE equipment, and test programming.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve test setup issues and coordinate with planners on setup plans.
• Make engineering decisions and propose creative solutions to meet device test performance targets.
• Support test operations and sustaining activities to ensure smooth production and on-time shipments.
• Review yield, equipment utilization, and quality performance to provide value-added engineering.
• Prepare technical proposals and presentations for customers to initiate improvement programs.
• Collaborate with customers on test programs, test hardware correlation, and tester releases.
• Coordinate tester time, lot scheduling, and hardware/program availability with Planning.
• Work with Customer Service on product code, test flow preparation, and lot parameter entry, and database updates.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure quality requirements and preventive actions.
• Support troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and cross-functional semiconductor test operations.

This role involves resolving test setup issues, making engineering decisions, and recommending creative solutions to ensure assigned device test performance meets expectations. You will support test operations and sustaining activities to ensure smooth production and on-time shipment delivery, while providing value-added engineering through analysis of yield, equipment utilization, and quality performance.

Key responsibilities

Resolve test setup issues and work with Planners on setup plans

Make engineering decisions and recommend creative solutions to ensure assigned device test performance meets expectations

Support test operations and sustaining activities to ensure smooth production and on-time shipment delivery

Provide value-added engineering by reviewing and analysing yield, equipment utilization, and quality performance

Prepare technical proposals and presentations for customers to initiate improvement programs

Collaborate with customers on test program and test hardware correlation and tester release activities

Coordinate with Planning for tester time, lot scheduling, and hardware/program availability

Work with Customer Service on product code and test flow preparation, lot parameter entry, and database updates

About you
