BYD Brazil is seeking a specialist to coordinate tender process organization and project support across procurement and business units. The role includes planning tendering activities, documenting and publishing tenders, and ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies.
The position also covers system configuration for the SRM Sourcing module in Brazil, driving online tendering standardization, and managing risk and exceptions through cross-department coordination.
Coordinate with procurement staff and business user departments, participate in the planning and review of tendering/sourcing projects for both production and non-production procurement, and assist in clarifying the tender scope, process milestones, evaluation rules, and relevant compliance requirements.
Prepare, review, and archive tender documents; publish tender announcements; organize technical Q&A sessions, bid opening, bid evaluation, award announcements, and the issuance of award notices, ensuring that the tendering process is complete, standardized, and traceable.
Track local Brazilian laws, regulations, and internal company requirements related to tendering, supplier management, and procurement compliance; assess their impact on the company's tender management process; and propose improvements to policies, processes, and compliance rules.
Be responsible for the process configuration, workflow follow-up, and optimization requirement collection for the Sourcing module of the company's SRM system for the Brazil site; promote the standardization of online tendering, evaluation, approval, and document archiving processes; and improve tender process efficiency.
Follow up on failed tenders, tender exceptions, supplier objections, violation handling, and matters related to bid bonds. Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Contract Management, and business departments to resolve issues, and summarize typical cases and risk control measures.
Prepare and update tender process guidelines, operation manuals, and training materials. Regularly provide training to procurement teams, contract management teams, and relevant business departments on tendering rules, standard processes, system operations, and compliance requirements.
