Job Summary
Member of team who acts as a vital bridge between engineering teams, manufacturing operations of foundry partners. Primary role is to manage and synchronize complex technical processes, ensuring that semiconductor development and production ramps are delivered according to design specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Specifically, the semiconductor technology will include patented high-performance UltraCMOS process technology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external semiconductor foundry partners to ensure projects are completed on time and meet product release requirements.
- Align technical challenges across internal and foundry engineering teams to deliver high-performance and manufacturable semiconductor processes.
- Support and track semiconductor process technology qualification activities, including documentation and timely execution.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to conduct technical studies and optimize process performance and development efficiency.
- Collaborate with device, process engineering, foundry, reliability, and modeling teams to execute process development and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Support qualification transitions, Design Rule Check (DRC) reviews, yield enhancement activities, production ramps, and high-volume manufacturing.
- Drive continuous improvement of process engineering workflows and standard work to improve quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with process engineering teams to define RF process technology roadmaps based on internal design, market, and customer requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams and support project definition and planning.
- Represent the technical coordination function in cross-functional organizational meetings.
- Support the development and qualification of UltraCMOS semiconductor process technology.
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including at least 2 years of experience in technical and/or project management.
- Semiconductor process engineering experience is highly preferred.
- Strong experience working with product teams, engineering teams, and external semiconductor foundry partners.
- Strong technical process leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Experience in improving semiconductor process stability, including CP/CPK, yield, DFM/DFY, and RF process performance.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with semiconductor process development, fabrication, reliability, modeling, and yield improvement.
- Familiarity with Cadence layout tools is highly preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and with limited or incomplete information.
- Strong technical expertise and ability to apply and share specialized semiconductor knowledge.
