ExxonMobil in Curitiba is seeking a Pricefx Configuration Engineer focused on Data & Analytics to support, configure, and enhance Pricefx capabilities across analytics, reporting, data management, and revenue management. You will partner with stakeholders, architects, and vendor teams to ensure stable, scalable solutions.

The role combines application support, analytics configuration, data analysis, troubleshooting, and integration to enable accurate pricing insights and data-driven decisions

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with data modeling, relational databases, reporting and analytics.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment.
• Experience troubleshooting data, integration, and reporting issues.
• Understanding ERP/CRM data platforms.
• Knowledge of data warehouses, OLTP and OLAP concepts.
• Understanding pricing, revenue management, or related processes.
• Strong problem solving and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Fluent English communication and Agile experience.

Responsabilidades

• Configure, develop, and maintain Pricefx solutions per requirements.
• Translate pricing and analytics requirements into Pricefx configs.
• Develop pricing logic, dashboards, KPIs, and data views.
• Build analytics capabilities: Data Analyzer, Datamarts, Data Sources.
• Configure Pricefx Analytics including dashboards and reporting structures.
• Design data models, dimensions, measures, and calculations.
• Validate data across systems to ensure accuracy.
• Optimize configurations for scalability and performance.
• Perform unit and end-to-end testing; troubleshoot defects.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, and integration teams.
• Support Agile delivery and solution deployment.
• Create governance and documentation.

What Role You Will Play In Our Team

The Pricefx Configuration Engineer - Data & Analytics is responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing Pricefx capabilities across Analytics, Reporting, Data Management, and Revenue Management processes. The role partners closely with Sales & Marketing business stakeholders, architects, data platform teams, integration teams, and external vendors to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of Pricefx solutions.

The position combines application support, analytics configuration, data analysis, troubleshooting, and integration support to enable accurate pricing insights, profitability analysis, and data-driven decision making across ExxonMobil's Revenue Management ecosystem. The successful candidate will develop expertise across both Pricefx Functional and Analytics capabilities.

What You Will Do

• Configure, develop, and maintain Pricefx solutions aligned with business, functional, technical, and analytical requirements.
• Translate pricing, CPQ, Price Strategy & Setting (PSS), Incentives Management (IM), and analytics requirements into scalable Pricefx configurations and custom development objects.
• Develop pricing logic, workflows, calculations, templates, dashboards, KPIs, reports, formulas, measures, and data views.
• Analytics capabilities, including Data Analyzer, Datamarts, Data Sources, Data Feeds, Dashboards, and Reporting.
• Configure and support Pricefx Analytics capabilities, including Data Analyzer, C&SI, dashboards, and reporting structures.
• Design and maintain data models, dimensions, hierarchies, measures, aggregations, and analytical calculations.
• Validate and reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure reporting accuracy and data consistency.
• Optimize platform configurations, analytical solutions, and reporting performance for scalability and efficiency.
• Perform unit testing, support end-to-end testing activities, troubleshoot defects, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, integration, and platform teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Support Agile delivery processes, including backlog management, sprint planning, and solution deployment.
• Create and maintain technical, functional, and analytical documentation to support governance and knowledge transfer.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills with the ability to investigate, validate, reconcile, and interpret business data.
• Experience with data modeling, relational databases, reporting, analytics, and data visualization concepts.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, business systems, or analytical platforms in a production environment.
• Experience troubleshooting application, data, integration, and reporting issues using structured problem-solving approaches.
• Understanding data integration concepts and experience working with ERP, CRM, or enterprise data platforms.
• Knowledge of analytical data architectures, including data warehouses, OLTP, and OLAP concepts.
• Understanding of pricing, revenue management, commercial processes, profitability analysis, or related business disciplines.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical and analytical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working in Agile delivery and support environments.

Nice to have Qualifications/Experience

• Pricefx certification or equivalent practical implementation experience.
• Experience across both Functional Pricing and Data & Analytics workstreams. Experience developing solutions using Groovy.
• Experience with pricing analytics, profitability analysis, revenue management, and commercial reporting.
• Experience with SAP S/4, Salesforce, or other enterprise business systems.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, SAP Datasphere, or Azure-based analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with machine learning, pricing science, and AI-enabled pricing capabilities.
• Experience supporting global business organizations.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality processes, and metadata management.
• Ability to operate effectively across business, functional, technical, and analytical domains.
