About Hilton Head Hospital

Hilton Head Hospital (HHH) is a 93-bed acute care hospital located at 25 Hospital Center Boulevard in Hilton Head Island, SC. HHH serves Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Okatie, and surrounding counties through its care team of over 600 colleagues and over 100 physicians. The hospital provides a continuum of services through its centers and programs, including a 24-hour emergency department, critical care, cardiac care ranging from minimally invasive to open heart surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, a nationally accredited breast health center, spine care, gastroenterology, surgical services, cardiac and physical rehabilitation.

Position Summary: To provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients through the performance of specific duties during diagnostic, interventional procedures, and EP procedures. Performs routine circulating, monitoring/documentation of physiological data, scrub duties, and pre and post duties according to established policies and procedures of the department of Cardiac Services. On Call Required.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must have South Carolina Registered Nurse license or multistate licensure from another Compact State within the proscribed guidelines of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.
2. Minimum one year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, Telemetry, Critical Care, or Emergency Room Unit.
3. Current BLS required.
4. Current ACLS required.
5. Experience in the use of Left Ventricular Assist Device (Impella) is preferred.
6. Prior experience working with assessment metrics and quality improvement processes in groups, alone, with and without immediate or direct supervision.
