Mercor is seeking a bilingual writer for Portuguese (Brazil) content on a remote, contract basis. The four‑week engagement starts immediately, with compensation at $13 per task.

You will guide AI actions, draft emails and notes, and ensure precise transcripts and data capture while working independently. Strong Portuguese, basic English, and a Mac with Apple Silicon are required.

Qualifications

• Must be native or near-native in Brazilian Portuguese.
• Able to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Own a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) running macOS Sequoia 15.0+.
• Regular use of email, docs, spreadsheets and browsers.
• Detail-oriented with structured data entry and quality review.

Responsibilities

Position: Bilingual Writer - Portuguese (Brazil)
Type: Contract

Role Responsibilities

• Use your voice to compose messages, emails, and notes across everyday apps.
• Direct the AI to take actions such as generating images, formatting text, applying spreadsheet formulas, or summarizing documents.
• Record accurate transcripts of your spoken queries and produce a cleaned-up transcript.
• Rate the AI's responses and log all task data in a structured tracking sheet.
• Upload supporting recordings to a shared drive.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese (raised/native to Brazil preferred).
• Able to understand and follow instructions in English.
• MUST own a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3) running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer.
• Regular, everyday use of common productivity apps (email, messaging, docs, spreadsheets, browsers).
• Comfortable with detailed, structured data entry and self-directed quality review.
