Our Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in supporting pharmacy teams to deliver on our brand promise within our Retail locations.

As a Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence, assisting patients and customers to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly. You will operate as part of the pharmacy team, applying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication. Throughout your shifts, you will demonstrate genuine care and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and empowered.

Technicians are required to complete a rigorous training program and meet all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Until all requirements are fulfilled, duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Living our purpose by following SOPs to help Pharmacists manage patient health.
2. Following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
3. Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, offering immunizations, and solving or escalating patient problems.
4. Completing inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership.
5. Supporting a high-performing team, embracing growth, and seeking opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge.
6. Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to stores as needed.
7. Understanding and complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies to ensure safety, compliance, and privacy.
8. Delivering additional health care services like immunizations and point-of-care testing, where legally permissible.

Additional responsibilities for supporting immunizations include obtaining licensure and training to support vaccines, educating patients, monitoring adverse reactions, and managing vaccine supplies.
