Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation in Curitiba is seeking a Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations for a multinational client in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, client contacts, finance teams and HR to deliver high‑quality payroll services and manage complex scenarios using TOTVS RM.

This hybrid role requires 2 days per week in Curitiba and offers flexible work arrangements and dedicated wellbeing

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Payroll Operations with end-to-end processing.
• Hands-on experience with TOTVS RM payroll modules.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll taxes, eSocial, 13th salary, vacation, and related calculations.
• Experience with payroll reconciliations and discrepancy investigations.
• Experience with multinational client-facing payroll activities.
• Knowledge of offshore payroll routines, including embarkation allowances and expatriate/impatriate payroll.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for hybrid work with 2 days per week in Curitiba.

Job description

As a Payroll Analyst, you will make an impact by ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations for a large multinational client within the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. You will be a valued member of the Payroll team and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, client contacts, finance teams, and HR professionals to deliver high-quality payroll services and support complex payroll scenarios.

In this role, you will:

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established deadlines.
• Manage payroll activities within TOTVS RM, including payroll inputs, validations, reconciliations, and payroll closing routines.
• Administer and validate payroll taxes, statutory obligations, eSocial activities, and payroll-related account reconciliations.
• Support offshore payroll processes, including embarkation allowances, expatriate and impatriate payroll requirements, and Shadow Payroll calculations.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll issues, manage risks, ensure compliance, and provide a high level of customer service.

What you need to have to be considered

• Solid experience in Payroll Operations with hands-on responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing.
• Proven expertise using TOTVS RM, particularly payroll processing, validations, reconciliations, and payroll closing activities.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll taxes, statutory obligations, eSocial, vacation, termination, 13th-month salary, and supplementary payroll calculations.
• Experience with payroll reconciliation activities and investigation of payroll discrepancies.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations and managing client-facing payroll activities.
• Knowledge of offshore payroll routines, including embarkation allowances and related payroll processes.
• Experience performing or validating Shadow Payroll calculations for expatriate and impatriate employees.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week in Curitiba.
