Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking a wafer/test technician in Singapore to support wafer and die testing within a cleanroom environment. The role involves following production schedules, operating testing equipment, and maintaining strict 6S standards.

The ideal candidate has semiconductor/cleanroom experience, an engineering background, and a willingness to work overtime when needed. Company transport is provided in the North region, with AWS and variable bonus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor/cleanroom manufacturing and wafer/die testing preferred.
• Engineering background is highly preferred for this role.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and wear a cleanroom suit.

Responsibilities

• Perform wafer testing using wafer testing equipment according to the production schedule.
• Conduct die testing and die sorting using designated platforms and equipment.
• Operate production equipment according to SOPs and work instructions.
• Monitor testing and sorting processes to meet daily output targets.
• Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards in cleanroom and fabrication areas.
• Follow cleanroom protocols and wear the required cleanroom suit during operations.
• Report equipment abnormalities, production issues, or quality defects to the supervisor.
• Perform overtime when required to meet production schedules and targets.
• Carry out other production-related duties as assigned.

Job Scope:

• Perform wafer testing using wafer testing equipment according to the production schedule.


• Conduct die testing and die sorting using designated platforms and equipment.


• Operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures and work instructions.


• Monitor testing and sorting processes to ensure production quality and meet daily output targets.


• Maintain proper housekeeping and comply with 6S standards within the cleanroom and fabrication area.


• Follow cleanroom protocols and wear the required cleanroom suit during operations.


• Report equipment abnormalities, production issues, or quality defects to the supervisor.


• Perform overtime when required to meet production schedules and operational targets.


• Carry out other production-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in semiconductor/cleanroom manufacturing, wafer testing, die testing, or die sorting is preferred.


• Candidates with an engineering or semiconductor manufacturing background are highly preferred.


• Willing and able to work in a cleanroom environment and wear a cleanroom suit for extended periods.


• Good attitude, responsible, and willing to learn and work overtime when required.


• Able to follow work instructions, production schedules, and cleanroom safety procedures.
