Come to one of the biggest IT Services companies in the world!! Here you can transform your career!
Why to join TCS? Here at TCS we believe that people make the difference, that's why we live a culture of unlimited learning full of opportunities for improvement and mutual development. The ideal scenario to expand ideas through the right tools, contributing to our success in a collaborative environment.
We are looking for Onsite Project Manager - Customer Consulting, who wants to learn and transform their career.
In this role you will:
- On-site client PM support: Provide day-to-day, in-person support to the client’s local PM team - facilitate working sessions, remove blockers, and ensure rapid alignment between client stakeholders and the remote delivery team.
- Scope & change control: Validate baseline scope with local stakeholders and support structured Change Request (CR) intake, impact assessment, prioritisation, and approvals; maintain traceability from requirements to delivery.
- Language & communication bridge: Translate and contextualise requirements, decisions, and technical updates between local client stakeholders and the remote delivery team; ensure meeting outcomes, action items, and expectations are understood by all parties.
- Work management (JIRA) & issue triage: Run disciplined intake from the client site; govern ticket lifecycle and hygiene (statuses, labels, metadata, resolutions); partner with client and engineering teams to classify items (defect vs enhancement vs new requirement) and maintain accurate backlog/release views.
- Stakeholder management & escalation: Facilitate on-site forums and working groups; act as a communication bridge between client PMO/product owners and internal teams; proactively resolve misalignments, bottlenecks, and cross-team dependencies through escalation and facilitation.
- Reporting & executive communication: Produce dashboards, KPIs, and status reports (including rapid daily updates when required); provide clear, data-backed visibility of project progress, RAID items, and overall project health.
- Release, cutover & go-live: Plan deployments and cutover runbooks; coordinate on-site readiness activities and war rooms/command centre support; drive post-deployment validation and stabilisation.
- Post-go-live operations: Own quarterly release calendar and ongoing change pipeline; coordinate production issue triage and RCA follow-through; monitor SLA/KPIs and run service review forums.
- Operational facilitation: Coordinate access and tooling (e.g., JIRA/Confluence/portals/dashboards) and ensure artefacts (minutes, recordings, trackers) are distributed and maintained.
Must Have Skill:
- Proven project management experience in a client-facing environment, with comfort operating as an on-site representative for a remote delivery team.
- Strong governance, planning, and execution discipline (RAID management, change control, milestones, dependencies).
- Hands-on experience with JIRA (or similar) including workflow governance, backlog management, and reporting/dashboards.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority; excellent stakeholder and expectation management.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting and facilitation of governance forums.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to bridge language and cultural differences; capable of facilitating discussions and documenting outcomes clearly for distributed teams.
- Experience collaborating across time zones and distributed teams; able to manage handoffs and ensure continuity of triage and delivery activities.
- Experience coordinating testing cycles (SIT/UAT), defect triage, release readiness, and sign-off processes.
Good Have to Skill:
- Experience in capital markets / market infrastructure domains (e.g., trading, clearing, risk, surveillance, market data) or similarly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps/release practices, environment management, and operational readiness/cutover planning.
- Comfort working with contractual KPIs/SLAs and supporting service review cadences.
