Tata Consultancy Services is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers / AI Engineers in Brazil, Sao Paulo. The role involves hands-on GCP and enterprise consulting, co-development with client teams, and translating business needs into robust technical architectures to enable iterative MVP-driven delivery.

You will work across agent orchestration frameworks, LLM tooling, and secure enterprise deployments, with opportunities to collaborate globally in a dynamic, learning-focused environment.

We are looking for Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) / AI Engineer who wants to learn and transform their career.

Mandatory:

• Previous hands-on experience working with GCP Experience & Technical Consulting
• Enterprise Consulting: experience working directly with enterprise clients and leading technical discovery sessions.
• Hands-on Co-Development: Direct collaboration with customer engineering teams, instilling best practices, developing reference implementations, reference architectures, supporting technical decisions and long-term solution sustainability.
• Requirements & Architecture: Proven ability to translate business pain points and processes into technical requirements and robust architectures considering the client context and restrictions.
• Iterative Delivery: Strong focus on incremental delivery, agile MVP validation, and continuous progression to production grade.
• Stakeholder Communication: Clear articulation with technical and business stakeholders, with the ability to negotiate technical trade-offs.
• Complex Environments: Proven adaptability to navigate complex enterprise environments, strict corporate security policies, and legacy architectures.

Technical Skills & Requirements

• Agentic Frameworks: Hands-on experience with agent orchestration frameworks, e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, Agent Development Kit (ADK).
• Agent Architectures & Protocols: Proficiency in Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols, tool/function ca ling, dynamic routing, and reasoning patterns (ReAct, self-reflection, hierarchical delegation).
• Vector Databases & RAG: Hands-on experience with RAG: Agent Search, Agent Retrieval, Cloud SQL / AloyDB, BigQuery, and leading market solutions.
• Guardrails & Semantic Security: Implementation of Guardrails layers and semantic security to actively mitigate prompt injection, jailbreaks, and PII/sensitive data leakage, as wel as output validation and halucination detection (e.g., Model Armor).
• Observability & LLMOps: Proficiency with Langfuse and AgentOps for granular tracing of agentic and A2A workflows, tracking LLM metrics (latency, cost, tokens/sec), and continuous monitoring.
• Machine Learning & MLOps: End-to-end ML lifecycle experience and hands-on use of managed services across the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (Vertex AI) (AutoML, Vertex Pipelines, Vertex Experiments, Model Registry, Deployment Methods, Feature stores, Model monitoring, Retraining and Evaluations).
• Languages (Back-End): Python (mandatory), Java, Go, or C++.
• Databases: BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Bigtable, Firestore, as wel as broader SQL and NoSQL ecosystems.
• Data Pipelines: Design and implementation of scalable data workflows and backend data pipelines.
• AI Integration & Enterprise Security: AI integrations via APIs / REST / gRPC/ SSE, GKE, Cloud Run, and Apigee, enforced with enterprise-grade isolation and governance via VPC Service Controls (VPC‑SC) and IAM.
• Software Reusability: Ability to identify recurring field friction points and transform them into reusable modules and core product enhancements.
