Who we are looking for

We’re on the hunt for an Online Community Manager to build, lead, and grow Musiversal’s online community from the ground up.

You understand the artist’s journey – because you’ve lived it. And you know that community, content, and collaboration can be a lifeline for creators navigating that path. You’re not just here to manage a group – you’re here to lead a movement. In this role, you'll shape a world-class community for music creators – from the very first member to a thriving ecosystem of artists, collaborators, and industry experts. You’ll craft a space that delivers real, consistent value across a variety of formats including forums, masterclasses, workshops, competitions, collabs, content drops, and more.

But it's not just about engagement. You’ll also bring strategies and processes to grow the community organically, and implement systems to convert members into Musiversal customers.

You’ll get to own your online community strategy and build a team of moderators, ambassadors, and industry leaders. This is your chance to shape something from day one, have real ownership – and grow with it.

• You’ve got experience building and growing online communities
• You’ve managed, moderated, or actively participated in spaces like Facebook Groups, Discord servers, or platforms like Circle or Bettermode
• You’re passionate about music, tech, or creator communities – ideally, all three!
• You bring a balance of analytical thinking, creativity, and consistency to grow community
• You’re a natural communicator who makes people feel seen, heard, and included
• You can write clear, engaging copy across different formats and channels
• You’re hands-on, scrappy, and unafraid to experiment
• You’ve worked in startups or fast-paced environments where things move fast
• You’re bold, thoughtful, and not afraid to take risks or challenge the status quo
• You’re comfortable being on camera and enjoy showing up for your community
• You’re humble, genuine, and a joy to work with
• You thrive in remote work settings and love the flexibility it brings
• You’re driven by purpose and want to make a real impact
• You speak and write English fluently and flawlessly
• Lead the day-to-day operations and energy of Musiversal’s online community
• Launch the community, creating an amazing experience for the first 10, 100 and 1,000+ members
• Welcome and onboard new members
• Moderate discussions and uphold community guidelines to ensure a respectful and
• high-quality space
• Bring fresh, exciting ideas to drive community engagement and growth
• Coordinate with content creators (video editors, designers, writers) to repurpose content
• from Musiversal’s offline events and livestream sessions for use in the community
• Run referral programs, perks, and systems to reward meaningful contributions
• Spot rising stars and nurture them into community moderators or ambassadors
• Help evolve our community platform setup based on user needs and feedback
• Collaborate with our LA-based community manager to connect offline event attendees
• with the online community
• (Bonus) Create light-touch visuals using tools like Figma, Canva, or CapCut
• Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams to fuel community-led
• experiments and feedback loops
• Track and report on community KPIs
