• Conduzir melhoria contínua dos serviços de infraestrutura e operações.

Spring Professional is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer (m/f), to Plan, design and build of infrastructure as a service in the public cloud space, preference of Azure and Google Cloud, for a multinational company in the health sector, based in Lisbon.

Responsabilities

• Lead small project works across IT Infrastructure and involved in Design, Planning and Engineering;
• Drive continuous service improvement across the infrastructure and operations team;
• Train and mentor junior members of the team;
• Manage and be an escalation point for 3rd Level IT infrastructure issues;
• Work closely with 3rd party vendors to replace and improve IT infrastructure;
• Follow policies and procedures, as well as recommending improvements;
• Installation, configuration, upgrading software and related products.

Technical Skillset

• Excellent knowledge of Compute, Storage Networks;
• Windows support, hardening and security improvement;
• Virtualisation administration (VMWare, Hyper-V, containers);
• Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions;
• Understanding of network processes and hardware;
• IT related qualification preferable (Degree in Computer Science);
• Good understand of backup, recovery technologies and automation technologies;
• Good experience working in the public cloud framework.
