John Deere is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer (Full Stack & Mobile) to join the Regional Office in Indaiatuba, SP. You will transform business requirements into scalable architectures, building robust backends, REST APIs, and mobile apps while collaborating with global Product Managers.

The role emphasizes modern cloud services, AI-enabled development, and cross-functional teamwork. Hybrid work model applies (3 days on-site in Indaiatuba).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, or equivalent.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in software development with Python and a modern front-end framework such as Flutter.
• Experience developing or consuming REST APIs and working with databases.
• Working knowledge of cloud services and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience with unit testing and secure coding practices.
• Foundational understanding of AI concepts and AI-enabled development tools.
• Ability to break down problems, communicate progress, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Skills You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent discipline;
• Advanced English;
• Experience in software development, including hands-on work with a server-side language such as Python and a modern front-end framework such Flutter or any similar framework;
• Experience developing or consuming REST APIs and working with relational or non-relational databases;
• Working knowledge of cloud services and automated deployment pipelines;
• Working knowledge of unit testing, secure coding, version control, and CI/CD practices;
• Foundational understanding of AI concepts and experience using AI-enabled development tools or integrating an AI service into an application;
• Ability to break down defined problems, communicate progress and blockers, and collaborate with stakeholders and engineers;
• Curiosity, learning agility, and a disciplined approach to experimentation;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week on-site in Indaiatuba/SP).

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience with workflow automation, low-code orchestration, or enterprise system integrations;
• Experience with PL/SQL development or foundational understanding of this language;
• Experience with prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, AI evaluation, or responsible AI practices;
