Jobtailor in Campinas, Brazil, is seeking an embedded software engineer to analyze, design, implement, and test embedded software across our product lines. You will collaborate with hardware, optics, and QA teams to deliver robust firmware and clear documentation.

The role emphasizes C/C++ development on Embedded Linux, Yocto, and RTOS/Zephyr, with opportunities to influence architecture, pursue proofs of concept, and improve processes through code and tool improvements.

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
Sufficient English proficiency to read and understand technical documentation.
Experience with embedded Linux and Yocto, RTOS/Zephyr, Python, TCP/IP networking, hardware drivers and interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART, GPIO), CI/CD, and embedded systems security is a plus.

Requirements

Experience developing software using C and C++
Experience with Embedded Linux
Knowledge of software development best practices
Experience with software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
