Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience in embedded software, HMI systems, and cloud-connected devices.
• Strong knowledge of C++, Qt, Python, Linux, IoT frameworks, and cloud platforms (Azure, REST APIs, MQTT).
• Experience with Git, Docker, CodeBeamer, and PLM/PDM systems.

Lead Software Engineer – Embedded Linux & Telematics

Oxbo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Brazil to design, develop, and integrate embedded Linux and telematics software across product platforms. This role focuses on hands‑on engineering work, ensuring modular, scalable solutions that align with Oxbo’s global electronics strategy. You will also act as the local contact point for the Technology team.

• Develop and integrate embedded Linux and telematics software into vehicle platforms.
• Write, review, and validate code to meet functional and safety requirements.
• Ensure modular, reusable, and maintainable software implementations.
• Collaborate with IT, electrical, mechanical, and test engineers for seamless integration.
• Define validation strategies, create test plans, and support field validation.
• Apply systems engineering principles (requirements, risk analysis, FMEA).
• Maintain internal software libraries and reusable components.
• Use and support development tools such as Git, CodeBeamer, and Qt.
• Document designs, processes, and test results for traceability and compliance.
• Support continuous improvement in CI/CD and coding standards.
• Ensure safe practices during testing and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded software, HMI systems, and cloud-connected devices.
• Strong knowledge of C++, Qt, Python, Linux, IoT frameworks, and cloud platforms (Azure, REST APIs, MQTT).
• Experience with Git, Docker, CodeBeamer, and PLM/PDM systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Android/iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with ThingWorx and advanced IoT solutions.
